A fantastically versatile chutney, which makes a great addition to any number of meals. It can be used in a pasta bake, as a tasty pizza base or as a delicious glaze on barbecued chicken drumsticks.
Try this with...
Sticky chicken drumsticks. Pre-heat the oven to 200 ̊C/Gas 6. Allow 2 drumsticks per person. Place drumsticks on an oiled tray and roast uncovered in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and smear a dessertspoon of Arran Tomato Chutney over each drumstick. Return to the oven for a further 5 minutes until the glaze becomes sticky. The chicken is cooked when the juices run clear when pierced with a sharp knife. It is very important to cook chicken thoroughly and cooking time can depend on the size and thickness of the drumsticks. Serve these hot or cold. If serving hot serve immediately or if you fancy these cold store in the refrigerator and eat on the same day. These are perfect for a tasty barbeque meal!
